It’s been a big battle to find dog food that my Alaskan Klee Kai dogs Copper and Skye will consistently eat, especially because my female dog is extremely picky.

My Alaskan Klee Kai dogs particularly liked the beef and chicken recipes, so I’d recommend starting with those two recipes if you’ve got picky pups.

Stella & Chewy’s
As I mentioned earlier, I’m taking a specific look at Stella & Chewy’s dinner morsels when discussing the raw dog food brand.
I was interested in trying their raw food to see how Copper and Skye would react to this pet food format (I hadn’t previously tested it out).
You can find Stella & Chewy’s at your local pet store, and I liked the convenience of popping to my local store to pick up a bag when I ran out.
But this meant the food wasn’t tailored to my Alaskan Klee Kai dogs, and I had to figure out the daily portion size. They provide feeding guidelines on the bag.
Stella & Chewy’s dinner morsels can be served frozen, which was a novelty for my mini huskies and convenient from the point of view of a pet owner.
However, it did work out quite expensive, and I found I’d go through multiple bags a month. I was spending nearly $250 a month on their dinner morsels.
My Klee Kai liked the food, but I ultimately decided to go with a raw dog food subscription brand that Copper and Skye really love.
