Are you looking to switch to We Feed Raw, but you want to know how much it costs?
It can be daunting committing to a subscription service with a raw dog food company because raw diets have a reputation for being expensive.
We discovered We Feed Raw a couple of months ago by chance when researching another raw dog food brand, and we decided to get their raw meals for our Alaskan Klee Kai.
Copper and Skye don’t usually show a tremendous amount of interest in raw food, but I was staggered by just how much Skye loved We Food Raw dog food (Copper is food-motivated, but Skye is fussy).
Not only did our Klee Kai love their new raw dog food recipes, but We Feed Raw cost us less than nearly all the fresh dog food and raw dog food companies that we’ve tested since returning to the USA last year.
In this raw dog food review, I’m going to give you a breakdown of how We Feed Raw costs, whether We Feed Raw is worth it and where you can place an order if you’d like to give their raw diet a try.

How Much Does We Feed Raw Cost?
Let’s not waste any time and take a look at We Feed Raw price right away.
It’s important to keep in mind that the cost of We Feed Raw dog food will vary depending on key factors such as your dog’s breed, your dog’s age, weight and your dog’s specific requirements. They cater to dogs of all life stages.
We Feed Raw offers a tailored raw dog food service, which means the pet food brand will customize your dog’s raw diet based on the answers you give in their sign-up questionnaire.
In the spirit of transparency, I’ll also share how much I pay for Copper and Skye’s We Feed Raw dog food to give readers an idea about the cost of raw feeding.
I’m going to share how much pet parents can expect to pay for their raw food if they’ve got a small breed, medium breed, large breed or extra large breed.
There are six recipes: beef, chicken, duck, lamb, turkey and venison. The raw animal protein that you select for your raw pet food will affect the price.
For the purposes of this price experiment, we’ll only use beef and chicken to calculate the price.
We Feed Raw offer the opportunity to feed a 100% raw diet, 75% raw diet or even 50% raw diet, depending on your dog’s breed and size, if you’d like to combine their raw meals with another dog food. We’ll include these options where relevant.
Copper and Skye (Alaskan Klee Kai)
Copper and Skye are six-year old Alaskan Klee Kai who weigh around 10lbs each.
Our We Feed Raw meal plan has a weekly price of $24.94 or a monthly price of $99.76 per dog.
As you can see, We Feed Raw can provide meal plans for dogs of all life stages to ensure your furry friend can enjoy a diet truly comprised of high quality meaty meat.
Chi The Chihuahua
Chi is a five-year old Chihuahua who is spayed and weighs around 5lbs. Chi’s We Feed Raw meal plan will be billed and shipped every 10 weeks for the weekly price of $15.90 or the monthly price of $63.60.
Poppy the Spaniel
Poppy is a Cavaier King Charles Spaniel who is spayed, five and weighs around 16lbs. To feed We Feed Raw dog food to Poppy would cost $28.95 per week or $115.80 per month. If Poppy’s owner signed up for the 75% plan, it reduce to $24.94 per week or $99.76 per month.
Willa the Whippet
Willa the Whippet is a five year old who weighs 30lbs and doesn’t have any health issues. Willa’s We Feed Raw plan would cost $43.52 per week or $174.08 per month. Alternatively, a 75% diet would see the price drop to $34.55 per week or $138.22 per month.
Goldie the Golden Retriever
Goldie the Golden Retriever is a spayed five-year old who weighs in at around 66lbs. Goldie’s owners will have to pay $50.73 per week or $202.92 per month to feed We Feed Raw food.
Alternatively, they could opt for a 75% We Feed Raw diet at a cost of $36.44 per week or $145.76 per month. There’s also the option to go for a 50:50 diet which would be priced at $24.56 per week or $98.24 per month.
Bernie the Bernese Mountain Dog
Bernie the five year old Bernese Mountain Dog is spayed and clocks in at around 90lbs. To feed this extra large dog, We Feed Raw quoted $103.64 per week or $414.56 per month.
If you want to bring down the cost of We Feed Raw, a 75% raw diet would cost $84.37 per week or $337.48 per month.
If Bernie’s owners plan on feeding raw in combination with another dog food type, a 50% plan reduces the price to $51.82 per week or $207.28 per month.
Is We Feed Raw Worth It?
I’ve also been hesitant about feeding raw dog food because my experience with raw dog food brands in the UK wasn’t great. It was a big faff having to handle my dog’s food when defrosted.
We discovered a raw dog food brand in the USA that appeared more convenient, and while my Alaskan Klee Kai enjoyed their meals initially, they started to pick out the fruit and vegetables after a few weeks.
However, I came across We Feed Raw online and decided to give their raw food a try based on the competitive pricing and good reviews from current pet owners.
I like that you can select which We Feed Raw recipes you want to try while keeping in mind your pet’s preferences and the price of the different protein sources (the turkey recipe is the cheapest).
Once I received Copper and Skye’s respective meal plans, I completed the sign-up process easily.
We Feed Raw prepares their meals in a USDA-certified facility before using cold shipping in biodegradable packaging to get Copper and Skye’s meals to our door.
When I opened We Feed Raw’s box, I found the feeding instructions on top of the meal pouches.
We Feed Raw’s meal pouches have a convenient shape to make them easy to stack in your freezer and maximize space rather than awkwardly shaped bags or meal containers.
I was shocked by how much my Alaskan Klee Kai loved We Feed Raw’s recipes. Copper and Skye have never shown much interest in raw dog food before but they were obsessed with We Feed Raw’s meals.
Usually Skye will grow tired of her dog food after a few weeks and will have to be cajoled to eat. However, my fussy eater was excited about her We Feed Raw food every mealtime since we started.
Honestly, I can’t give a better We Feed Raw dog food review than that! Skye is so picky usually!
I believe We Feed Raw is competitively priced when you consider they provide a human-grade balanced diet comprised of quality of the meat, create customized meal plan for your dog and ship their raw dog food direct to your door.
We’ve been feeding We Feed Raw alongside this dry dog food brand for a couple of months, and I’ve seen my Klee Kai have more energy, healthier skin, firmer stools and many more health benefits.
I believe We Feed Raw has proven a great investment having the benefits of raw food to my pet’s health.

Wrapping Up
We’ve reached the end of our We Feed Raw price breakdown.
Having reviewed lots of different dog foods over the past six years, We Feed Raw is easily one of my Alaskan Klee Kai’s favorites.
We’ve been feeding them raw food for a few months now, and I’m still shocked to see Skye’s mealtime excitement because she’s usually a picky eater.
I love that We Feed Raw offers a range of six recipes to cater to fussy eaters – my Klee Kai particularly loves the beef recipe, duck recipe, lamb recipe and venison recipe.
At a price of $49.88 per week for my two dogs, I believe We Feed Raw represents great value when compared to other fresh or raw dog food delivery companies.
So, I believe We Feed Raw is worth the price.
